Description
San Giuliano’s Sicilian blood oranges are sliced crosswise into 1/4-inch thick slices, blanched for a few minutes to remove their bitterness, then gently caramelized in simple syrup until shiny and tender. With the most delicate touch, the slices are stacked into a jar and covered with a dense reduction of orange juice, simple syrup, and a splash of organic brandy.
