ABOUT ROBERTO HERNANDEZ
Roberto Henrquez Ascencio was born in 1984, Concepcin, Chile. He is an Agronomist and Enologist from the Universidad de Concepcin. Since 2009, Roberto has travelled the world producing wines in some of the most diverse and respected regions; France, South Africa, Canada and Chile.
Using his knowledge coupled with international experience, Roberto returned to his homeland Chile, residing along the southern frontier which is considered the origin of Chilean wine. Since May 2015, Roberto has been pursuing his dream and embarking on a career as an independent winemaker. The key to his success has been in producing wine made from 200-year-grapes located at the southern end of the Bio Bio riverbank.
Pas vines are an integral part of history, culture, tradition and character of Chilean terroir.
