Description
Taillepieds is one of Volnays best premiers crus and this cuve totally lives up to its renown. Produced at the hands of one of Burgundys best, this old vine wine oozes with flavors of violets, cherry liqueur, and grilled meats. Tangy acid and fine-grained tannins keep the wine balanced and bright, though wed give this bottle a few more years to let its slight austerity mellow out.
