Resting for over 1 year in freshly emptied bourbon barrels, Bourbon O.E. emerges with immense aromas of toffee, caramel, vanilla, sweet bourbon and oak. The generous malt character melds with a soft bitterness and a touch of tannin from the extended aging bring balance to an otherwise malty-sweet style. As the beer warms, expect the bourbon character, caramel and toffee to intensify.
