Description
Marisa Cuomos 10 hectares of terraced vines lay scattered against the Tyrrhenian Sea, benefiting from radiant sun exposure and saline-tinged sea breezes. This 50/50 blend of Piedirosso and Aglianico grows in dolomitic soils, ferments for 12 days, and ages 66 months in French oak. The final wine is spicy and ripe, with notes of cherry, cassis, and licorice. Supple tannins give way to a hearty, lasting finish.
