Description
Headed by Gilbert and Brigit Clusel, this Cote-Rotie estates 3.5 hectares lay across the regions signature granitic slopes, with the original vineyard site planted in 1935 by Gilberts grandfather. Here, vines are dedicated to Serine, a low yielding clone of Syrah, farmed organically since the 1990s. Les Grandes Places is vinified 30% whole-cluster, showing notes of black cherry, mulberry, and smoke. Rich and firm, with muscular tannins.
